Mobile County Public Schools students brought several awards home from the Alabama National History Day held recently in Montgomery. In fact, 25 of the 41 students who placed in the top three of their category were MCPSS students.
Students competed in a variety of categories, including exhibits, websites, documentaries, papers and performances. Clark-Shaw, Phillips, Burns, Causey and Dunbar had students place in the Junior Division, while Murphy, Baker, Blount, Mary G. Montgomery and B.C. Rain had top-three finishers in the Senior Division.
