Mobile County Public Schools’ Child Nutrition Program will renew its Summer Feeding Services this month at two sites: Augusta Evans Special School and Cranford Burns Middle School.
Food service for these two locations will begin on Monday, June 12, and continue until July 13. Meals will be served free of charge to children under the age of 18 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. each day.
In addition, 21 schools will be served by Feeding the Gulf Coast this summer. They are: Calcedeaver, Collins-Rhodes, Dixon, E.R. Dickson, John Will, Leinkauf, Morningside and Wilmer elementary schools; Scarborough Middle School; and B.C. Rain, Baker, Blount, Bryant, Citronelle, Davidson, LeFlore, Mary Montgomery, Murphy, Theodore, Vigor and Williamson high schools.
Bryant High School and John Will Elementary will begin serving on Tuesday and Blount next Friday, with all other sites beginning on June 12 except Scarborough (June 13); Calcedeaver and Dixon (June 19); Morningside (June 20) and Collins-Rhodes (July 10).
The Calcedeaver, John Will, Leinkauf, Morningside and Scarborough sites will include breakfast as well as lunch. Other sites will have a designated snack time in addition to lunch feedings.
